What is MCP?

Model Context Protocol (MCP) is a standardized way to connect AI assistants to external data sources and tools. Think of it as a bridge that lets your AI assistant access and work with your Channlworks data directly in conversations.

Quick Setup

For Claude Web Users (Easiest Setup)

Claude Web supports custom connectors using remote MCP!

Requirements: Claude Pro, Max, Team or Enterprise plan
Setup Steps:
  1. 1Navigate to Claude Web (claude.ai) and sign in
  2. 2Find the 'Connectors' section in settings
  3. 3Click 'Add custom connector' at the bottom
  4. 4Enter: https://mcp.channlworks.com/v1/mcp
  5. 5Complete OAuth authentication
  6. 6Enable the tools you want to use

For ChatGPT Users

ChatGPT now supports MCP (Model Context Protocol) connectors through Developer Mode.

Requirements: ChatGPT Plus or Team subscription
Setup Steps:
  1. 1Open ChatGPT and sign in
  2. 2Go to Settings → Connectors → Advanced Settings
  3. 3Enable Developer Mode and accept the warning
  4. 4Click 'Create' and add a custom connector
  5. 5Enter: https://mcp.channlworks.com/v1/mcp
  6. 6Select OAuth and complete authentication
  7. 7Enable the Channlworks connector in your chat
  8. 8Start a new chat → '+' → More → Toggle Developer Mode → Turn on Channlworks MCP
