Specialist Solutions Architect - Data Engineering

About the role

Databricks needs a specialist solutions architect to design and optimize customer data workloads on its platform. The role leads proofs of concept, batch and streaming pipelines, applications, performance testing, and technical customer discussions. It also mentors peers and delivers workshops while working with account teams and solution architects.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end technical design, proof of concepts (PoCs), and workload sizing for strategic customer engagements

Requirements

• 5+ years in data or software engineering with hands-on proficiency in distributed processing (Apache Spark™, Delta Lake, SDP) and real-time streaming technologies
